    My mother lived on Galveston Island during WWII when my Father served in the Pacific Theater. Later Dad built a Family home on the West end. We fished the bays, the North and South Jetty systems, and sometimes offshore. All are memories worth preserving. Thank you for your efforts to hold habitat for the life that lives there and those who come today and will come tomorrow to observe, to learn, and to appreciate what has been sustained.
